This is a site that I have set up to allow anyone out there to see how progress is being made on my project bug.
This site will follow and display all the different ideas that I have and how I plan this project to look at the end of it all. This is my first project and will be a big learning curve for me so let's see how it goes.
My name is Ben, but in the VW community I am known as lil_bugga. I have been into VW's since I was a toddler, when my favourite toy cars were the VWs and Porsches, which is a coincidence as Dr Ferdinand Porsche designed the original concepts for the VW beetle and some of the early Porsches.
I'm 22 years old and at the moment I have two Beetles, a 1972 1200 and my 1972 built 1303 project bug. These happen to be beetles 4 and 7 so far. I started with 1972 1302, next was a 1973 1300 followed a 1974 1300. In between getting my 1972 1200 and my 1303 I also had a 1972 Marathon bug which was going to be my project until the 1303 came along.
